Rambler Park Becomes First Dallas Building To Achieve LEED Platinum EBOM Certification

MIAMI, Fla., August 4, 2014 – Parmenter Realty Partners announced today that Rambler Park has been awarded the first LEED Platinum for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance certification in Dallas and North Texas. The prestigious certification of LEED Platinum highlights the distinctive Dallas office setting offered by Rambler Park with its high quality, sustainable environment and direct DART access.

“We are proud that Rambler Park is recognized with this significant certification one year after we acquired and renovated the building,” said Steve Bronner, Vice Chairman of Parmenter Realty Partners. “Our dedicated sustainability team constantly looks for ways to maximize the efficiencies of our buildings, while we also create value for our investors and holistic working environments for our tenants.”

The LEED Platinum certification recognizes excellence in sustainability in ongoing building operations that must be demonstrated through actual performance data proving that operational efficiencies are maximized and environmental impacts are minimized.

“USGBC North Texas is pleased to welcome Rambler Park as the first LEED Platinum EBOM in the North Texas community,” said Michelle McEuen, Director of Marketing and Communications at U.S. Green Building Council North Texas Chapter. “Parmenter Realty Partners’ commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability is a prime example of the excellence we strive to achieve each day in our neighborhoods, and we look forward to partnering together in the future.”

Rambler Park earned LEED Platinum certification through performance of ongoing sustainability features at the building, including:
Rambler Park is rated among the top performers in EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager with a score of 93.
A large number of tenants use alternative transportation options offered, especially the Walnut Hill DART station, recently connected to the Rambler Park building.
Rambler Park documents green practices during renovations, including construction waste recycling, sustainable renovation product purchases, and Indoor Air Quality management of construction activities.
Parmenter Realty Partners requires the use of green cleaning products and methods at Rambler Park, and extends sustainability requirements to landscaping, window washing, and pest control service providers.

“Our company’s sincere commitment to enhancing sustainability throughout its high performing buildings portfolio enabled our ParmenterGREEN team to earn the LEED Platinum in only one year, a feat of which we’re very proud,” said Steve Harrison, Parmenter’s Managing Director of Facilities and Sustainability.

Rambler Park is a 14-story, 310,771 square foot office building located one half mile east of I-75 Central Expressway with convenient access to the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, and Lake Highlands neighborhoods. Parmenter Realty Partners acquired the property in July 2013, and now owns and operates over three million square feet of office space in the Dallas market.

Parmenter Realty Partners is a fully integrated real estate investment, management and development firm, headquartered in Miami, Florida, with three regional offices in Dallas, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. The company owns and operates high-quality office properties, and is actively involved in the expansion of its portfolio throughout its targeted markets.
