Giving back is at the core of Parmenter Realty Partners. We believe that giving back to our communities is part of our success. In each of our markets, our local employees are encouraged to partner with organizations to make a real impact whether that be through donating our time or helping to collect much needed materials with the help of our tenants. Together, we have raised nearly $2 million for these and other charities. Beyond financial support, our properties assist organizations to collect donations of food, blood, toys, books, clothing, and more.
Parmenter Realty Partners has long sought opportunities to be leaders in our industry. Beginning in 2016 we began installing bee hives at our properties to help bring back these pollinators into urban and suburban areas. We have now installed more than 11 hives in our property and plan to install more in the coming years. Starting in 2020 we began partnering with Bee Downtown, a company focused on installing and maintaining beehives throughout the southeast while providing year-round employee engagement and leadership development programming.
