Darryl W. Parmenter, formerly a captain in the Marine Corps, has over 40 years of experience in real estate acquisition development and management operations. He founded the company in 1989 and currently serves as Chairman and as a member of the Advisory Board.

Prior to this, he spent 10 years as a Managing Partner at Lincoln Property Company where he directed the development, management, and property acquisition program for numerous high rise office properties and mixed-use projects, notably, the development of 701 Brickell Avenue, a 750,000 square foot, 33-story building in Miami. As a Senior Investment Broker at CBRE Mr. Parmenter was recognized for his outstanding performance by inclusion in the Colbert Coldwell Circle, a designation given only to the top-10% of brokers nationally.

For many years, he has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving as Governor and as a member on its Urban Development Mixed-Use Development Council. Mr. Parmenter also served as a member of the Real Estate Round Table, the real estate industry’s policy organization, and as a member on the Advisory Board for Institutional Real Estate, Inc. He has served on several national and regional civic and charitable organizations, such as The Baptist Hospital Foundation and the Coast Guard Foundation. He was also a founding Board Member of the Ocean Reef Club.
